Set beneath wide-open skies at the stunning Devil’s Thumb Ranch, this prairie celebration felt effortlessly romantic and deeply rooted in its surroundings. Soft, meadow-inspired florals and natural textures were layered with refined yet playful details, creating a design that felt authentic, intentional, and full of personality. The ceremony unfolded in gentle breezes and warm afternoon light, leading into an easygoing cocktail hour where guests lingered over Shirley Temples (the groom’s favorite) and Strawberry Margaritas (the bride’s drink of choice), all while taking in the sweeping landscape. As the sun dipped low, the reception came alive with candlelight, layered linens, and florals that felt as though they’d grown straight from the ranch itself. Thoughtful, relaxed, and full of heart, this beautifully curated gathering was timeless and personal, with details that reflected the couple at every turn. Our favorite moments included a glowing escort display featuring the couple’s favorite Colorado hiking trails, a custom printed dance floor and bar, and an interactive “Reception Connection” guest book—complete with a vintage phone for guests to leave voice messages for the newlyweds.
